Position Title: Technical Marketing Manager
Position Type: Regular Full-time
Location: Irvine, CA


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead product discovery and definition of RF integrated circuit (RFIC) components and sub-systems for new and emerging RF and Millimeter Wave vertical markets
  • Responsible for driving and managing the overall business plan for the product portfolio
  • Perform TAM/SAM, ROI, financial, competitive, and threat analysis for the product line
  • Set and drive product roadmap, business strategy and market development efforts
  • Generate product collaterals, specifications, support documentations, marketing material
  • Work and collaborate with cross-functional team to successfully develop, launch, and commercialize the product portfolio
  • Assist Sales and Applications Engineering team with discovery, qualifying, and securing design opportunities and design wins


Qualifications and Required Skills:


  • Strong background and knowledge of wireless communications and systems
  • Versed in RF front-end and Millimeter Wave front-end circuits, components, hardware system architectures for Wireless Connectivity in the emerging IoT Internet-of-Things and 5G markets
  • Technical knowledge of component-level and sub-systems specifications, parameters, key figures-of-merit, and associated semiconductor process technologies
  • Self-motivated, self-driven with high business acumen
  • Demonstrate to be a team player and out-of-the box thinker
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to solve business issues, to work with and influence senior management towards product success
  • Be able to take initiative, multi-task, and demonstrate being a significant individual contributor
  • Willing to travel 30-40% of the time


Education and Experience:


  • BS in Electrical Engineering with at least 6 years of related work experience in Product Marketing, Business Development, Technical Sales, or Applications Engineering within the RF semiconductor industry
  • MBA is a plus
